My Curious Georgie

It couldn't hurt to introduce my constant little shadow, Georgie, since photos of him will more than likely surface as my fur-babies are like children to me. Georgie came to us about a year ago after the heart-wrenching loss of my 17 year old calico baby girl. I honestly did not know how I was going to get through the loss of Patches... not having the kitty greeting at the door, chirps, head butts...purrs. The opportunity to take Georgie in came in the form of two positives - a chance to ease the pain of someone who loved him greatly but had to give him away (due to allergies in the home) - and a chance to ease our own pain of losing our sweet girl, so I knew it was meant to be.

Georgie has had us laughing almost immediately since he came to be with us. He is such a silly, and true to his namesake, curious boy. He is, as I mentioned, is my constant companion. Needing to know what I am doing at all times to insure that he doesn't miss anything super fun or interesting. His collar tag lovingly states "George E" after I asked the husband to pick up an engraved tag for him - and "George E" is what he came home with. (I wanted to be mad, but I was honestly so impressed by the fact he remembered to get a tag that I found it to be cute instead of upsetting).

Georgie Boy is easy going, a sucker for catnip, a talker, an avid biscuit maker (preferably on soft people bellies), a begger, a birdwatcher, a ham, a prowler, and just an absolute lover. He is absolutely adored.
